I think your ideas about the disrespectful children could be somewhat true in some countries- do you think this is the cause for children's right's being ignored in developing countries (like to ones in the child labour video?) Excellent reflections on your learning!

24/9/08	I thought i had alreadt created this page but must have forgoten to save it (it is now the last page and has some good points - access quicker using contents (under stage 6)	Taking a look through your page, I can see how hard you have been working on your investigation stage and not just being focused on your presentation. I like the way you took a look at your hypothesis and reflected on it- don't forget to keep looking at all elements of child labour- challenge yourself to find some positive benefits or cultural issues related to child labour. Start to take a look at the Key Reflection Questions on the room 8 part of the wiki- you've already started covering some of these!
26-9-08	The learning reflections are accesable on the contents page and the last page so far on the wix is a reflection and if your looking for my reflection about one of my hypothesis you can take the link on the hypothesis page or on the contents its under 'stage 4'	Hi Bart- still looking good- make sure you act on the feedback so far- just a request... Could you please make your learning reflections more easily accessible- then I can see if you are "participating as an active, informed, critical citizen" more easily. Thanks!
4-10-08	I could understand the text and language rweasonably well I really only put it into "younger'' writting so others could understand it and so it was easier to get information out of it so no I wasnt really wishing for a easy to read kids book with all the info I needed.	Hi Bart- still looking for the reflections on your learning. As a child yourself, what were you thinking when you began simplifying the definitions about rights etc. Even when it was turned into more suitable language, were you wishing you could find a copy of children's rights written especially for children? Could you try doing some investigating with your peers to think of the top 3 children's rights?
8/10/08	although there are no officail childrens rights, we do have the right to education and shelter as in the list of human rights it says humans have that right and you get education when you are a child. so that is one then these are the other two I think we should have... -The right to education (as mentioned above). -The right to not be forced/tricked into work. -the right to shelter and a family.

20/10/08	reflected on info page 3 thoughts/reflections about some of the info	This wiki contains so much excellent information- your investigation stage is almost complete- you are being critical too about what you read! The organisation of your wiki is clear and simple- things are easy to find and you have used Wix to give your pages a personal touch. Now is the time to review the success criteria in the room- think of some key elements for when we assess the learning later this term- remember how people have different perspectives on countries and situations AND how leadership affects situations too. Make a note of the success criteria in the room and ask yourself "Am I...?" (They are written as "I can..." statements. Once again- well done for showing resillience and independence in your learning (remember the Key competencies?). Also, your little game at the top of the log is too addictive!!
